André A. Dhondt is the Edwin H. Morgens professor of ornithology at Cornell University. As the director of the bird population studies unit of the Cornell Laboratory of Ornithology, he is in charge of the scientific aspects of volunteer based-research projects, including FeederWatch and Classroom FeederWatch.

Kimberly Telsch is a student scientist at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia.

David Tucker teaches at Mount Baker High School in Deming, Washington.
