CONFERENCE WORKING GROUPS: CONSIDERING THE ISSUES

During the second day of the conference we met in working groups to grapple with the hard issues associated with creating effective student and scientist partnerships. During the morning we considered issues from the perspective of science, and during the afternoon we considered issues from the perspective of education. While discussions often moved across the two perspectives and across the various issues, each working group's specific charge received serious attention. Group facilitators recorded and summarized key points of the sessions in the following section.
